The Velvet Underground- In arrivo a novembre un cofanetto deluxe

The Velvet Underground 45th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition- Quale modo migliore per celebrare il 45esimo anniversario dall’uscita del terzo album se non riproporlo? Insomma la band fa il bis! Dopo la riedizione del disco di debutto The Velvet Underground & Nico nel 2012, i membri superstiti dei Velvet Underground hanno annunciato per il prossimo 24 novembre l’uscita di un’edizione deluxe composta da sei CD contenenti, nel complesso, 65 tracce. Velvet Underground, uscito in origine nel marzo del 1969, ritorna pubblicato con molte sorprese per gli appassionati. Oltre alla versione rimasterizzata dell’album omonimo contenuta nel primo CD il cofanetto include versioni mix mono e stereo, registrazioni live che arrivano dal novembre 1969, registrate al Matrix di San Francisco, outtakes e note di copertina di David Fricke di Rolling Stone. La novità più interessante è contenuta all’interno del quarto CD che porta alla luce una versione del quarto album della band registrato nell’ottobre del 1969. La registrazione del disco avvenne in chiusura di contratto con la MGM e solo in seguito molte tracce  vennero editate nel quarto album ufficiale Loaded ed altre inserite nel primo album da solista di Lou Reed, Transformer.
